Christian began his Journey with 1heart on J13 when he came as a guest. At the time, he was co-leading the marketing departments of Gwella and Mojo, two Canadian-based psychedelic startups. All the while, he was feeling terribly alone and exhausted on his path of self-awareness, success, and faith.
During his second ceremony, he received a crystal clear feeling that the work being done at 1heart was the work he was meant to support. It was the easiest yes he never had to say yes to. He watched himself and his newfound family forgive, fall in love, and feel a sense of belonging within themselves & a community they never knew existed.
As the story goes, he became a volunteer in July of 2022, officially joined the team in March of 2023, and is currently the Marketing Director.
His position extends well beyond marketing with 1heart. He supports business development, community building, Journey operations & logistics, facilitates calls & workshops, holds space in ceremonies, and occasionally sings a song or three.
As they tend to say, Christian came in as a boy and quickly became a man.
Outside of 1heart, Christian consults with other heart-centered organizations & retreat centers that share the vision of leaving people, places, and things more beautifully than they found them.
